I have been fortunate to experience different perspectives through a range of contexts, cultures, languages, and curricula which have significantly enriched my experience as an Educator.
As a student, i lived and studied in different countries; as a teacher, i taught in different regions in public and mostly international schools; as a regional trainer of Education technology, i provided consultancy and training to schools, universities and Ministries of Education in the MENA region; as an administrator, i worked on developing strategic plans and lead a school-wide digital transformation project and finally, as a parent, i raised four children who regard themselves as “world citizens”.
Working as an educator in three vastly different cultures, having travelled to many countries around the globe, coached and lead teachers from diverse backgrounds, has ultimately brought me to the realization that, in essence, we are all one. Our similarities are far greater than our differences. It is through unity in diversity that we would bring about true education and raise generations who believe that: “The world is but one country and Mankind its citizens
